Why should you listen to me?
I setup my own design agency, Competitive Edge Design, in 2002 which was rebranded as NetChimp in 2011. It is based in York but has customers throughout the UK, from London to Aberdeen. These range from small but ambitious businesses run by entrepreneurs to well-known national chains.

About Kevin Craighead
Kevin Craighead aim’s to build successful websites for his clients and thinks he’s pretty good at it. He also fix underperforming websites by recommending changes that will increase their effectiveness. Finally, he helps increase the number of visitors websites using various techniques often known as Search Engine Optimisation (SEO).
He tries to avoid jargon, techno-babble and buzzwords (although once a nerd, always a nerd!). He is an honest guy and if he doesn’t think he can help you he won’t take on your job. He firmly believes there is nothing worse than promising you can do something and failing to deliver.
He has been working in the computer industry since 1988 although his love of electronics goes back even further to his first experience of Pong in the late 70’s.
He built his first website in 1997 for American oil giant Chevron when he worked in their Aberdeen office. He continued with web development when he worked for BT Consulting in London as part of the team that designed Channel 4’s and Barclay’s Bank web infrastructures in 2001.
In between he found time to manage local band Bassology where he first used online marketing for promotion. It was so successful they were asked to do a short TV interview by regional TV describing what he did — which you can watch below.
And yes they did have U2’s producer interested!
